Malka Edelman - NCC, MCC, CRC, LMHC - Career Counselor Master Trainer, Global Career Development Facilitator Certificate

Malka Edelman, President of Comprehensive Career Planning, Inc. and Farmingdale State College Career Development Center Director, has had a tremendous and positive impact on Career Development for over 20 years.

Malka is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Master Career Counselor, and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Since Fall 1996, she has served on the faculty of the graduate counseling programs at Hofstra and more recently joined the graduate counseling program faculty at New York Institute of Technology.

Malka was selected by the National Career Development Association (NCDA) to be one of the first in the country to be trained as an instructor. In 1998, she was one of 19 individuals to be selected nationally and trained by NCDA to become a Master Trainer, qualified to train new instructors. Since 1998, she has trained numerous Career Development Facilitator Instructors (CDFIs) including a group in the United States Army/Army Reserve in Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico in November 2005.
