What is the GCDF Training Program?
GCDF Training provides individuals with relevant skills and knowledge to assist others in planning careers and obtaining meaningful work. The GCDF credential was developed to provide standards, training specifications and credentialing for these career providers.

- Uniquely experienced trainers, including Malka Edelman, NCC, MCC, CRC, LMHC, one of only 29 GCDF Master Trainers in the United States, and Christopher Carroll, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist and certified GCDF Instructor.
Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certification is provided through the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE www.cce-global.org), a subsidiary of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC www.nbcc.org). It was developed jointly by CCE, the National Career Development Association (NCDA www.ncda.org), and the National Occupational Information Coordinating Committee. The U.S. certification program was developed in 1997 and is the first of the GCDF programs.
NCDA was one of the founding associations of the American Counseling Association (ACA www.counseling.org) in 1952. The mission of NCDA is to promote career development for all people across the lifespan through public information, member services, conferences, and publications.
The American Counseling Association services professional counselors in the U.S. and in 50 other countries including Europe, Latin America, the Philippines and the Virgin Islands. In addition, the American Counseling Association is associated with a comprehensive network of 19 divisions and 56 branches.
The GCDF Training Program is an intense training program that includes 120 hours of instruction. The curriculum addresses major career development areas and provides up-to-date resources, references, career-related website and much more.
Through CCP, Inc. you will earn A Global Career Development Facilitator Certification, a National Credential from the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) (www.ncda.org; www.cce-global.org).
This training program satisfies requirements for Continuing Education Credits and/or Graduate School Credits. Opportunties exists to apply these credits toward permanent certification and incremental salary benefits.
